Job Title: POA Operations Specialist

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)

Summary of the Role

The successful candidate will support client clients in managing their finances by reviewing documents submitted by branch partners to ensure they meet legal requirements and processing them when accurate or following up when additional information or documentation is required.

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Support client clients in managing their finances.
- Review documents submitted by branch partners to ensure they meet legal requirements.
- Ensure submissions are in accordance with client policies and procedures and provincial legislation.
- Confirm that all necessary supplementary documentation is included.
- Process requests when documentation meets all requirements.
- Follow up and return packages with a standard deficiency message when documentation is incomplete or does not meet requirements.
- Manage incomplete or inconsistent submissions.
- Meet service level expectations while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain current knowledge of changing provincial legislation and internal policies.

Must-Have Hard Skills





- Fully bilingual in English and French – written and verbal
- 5 years of banking experience is required
- Prior experience in an SLA-based role
- MS 365 proficiency – Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Comfortable using AI technology

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Legal experience – working with legal government documents
- Familiarity with POA files
