About The Opportunity Expected Compensation: $25/hourly

Position Summary This is an opportunity that offers hands-on experience in the corrugate packaging & display industry. The applicant will support the design team by executing the essential job functions required.
Essential Job Functions Cut and assemble samples for design review
Develop assembly instructions for new products
Create pallet patterns for efficient shipping
Support the design team in their day-to-day tasks
Build mock-ups to visualize design concepts
Assist with preparing displays for ship testing
Perform administrative tasks
Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Enrolled in the final year of a packaging/industrial design-related program at an accredited college or university
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in 2D & 3D design platforms is beneficial
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and take direction from senior team members
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to learn new skills quickly
Passion for design and interest in the industry
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting Position will be based at Menasha Packaging site Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
