Located in Kelowna, BC, this full time, seasonal role requires an experienced cook ready to manage meal preparation in a fun and active setting. You'll be tasked with making balanced snacks and lunches while maintaining food safety and cleanliness for both the kitchen and the children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and prepare nutritious meals for kids in the centre
• Independently oversee complete kitchen operations
• Follow strict food safety and sanitary standards
• Keep accurate inventory of food supplies and equipment
• Work collaboratively with fellow program staff
Requirements:
• Current Level 1 Food Protected BC certification
• Proven culinary skills and relevant qualifications
• Ability to lift and navigate the kitchen environment
• Reliable and responsible approach to food service
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
