Summary

Provide prompt and superior customer service at the retail postal outlet and maintain a neat checkout area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
Greet all customers with a warm demeanor.
Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
Accurately scan or enter product data.
Account for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum.
Ask for the customer’s PC Optimum Card at each transaction.

Merchandising
Ensure proper documentation of receipts and returns.
Merchandise and maintain designated areas (e.g., facing, signing, labeling).

Loss Prevention
Follow loss prevention standards.
Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

General
Present a proper image according to the uniform policy and dress code guidelines.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.




Adhere to store policies and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping and image standards.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
Planning, judgment and decision making skills.
Balance teamwork and efficiency in processing customer orders.
Organization and neatness.
Efficiency in processing customer orders.

Experience
Robust computer and register skills.
Well organized with record‑keeping ability.
Detail oriented.

Hiring Range
