Tim Hortons in Keswick, Ontario is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced food service establishment located at 24266 Woodbine Avenue, Keswick, ON L4P 3E9.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, in office customer service. The work site environment involves odours and hot conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Hire food service staff
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Prepare budget and cost estimates
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Supervise and check assembly of trays
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Establish work schedules

Supervision:



3–4 people including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants and food preparers, and kitchen and food service helpers.

Work Conditions: Quick-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in food service
Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player

Schedule: Evening, shift work, flexible schedule, weekends. Hours: 30 to 44 per week.

Wage: $19.25 per hour.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service; knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres; excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills; client-focused and flexible team player.
