Tim Hortons in Kelowna, BC is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to lead a team of 16–20 food service staff in a quick-paced coffee shop and restaurant workplace.

Work Setting: Food service establishment, coffee shop, rapid food outlet, restaurant.

Responsibilities:
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Prepare budget and cost estimates
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Establish work schedules

Supervision: Food service counter attendants and food preparers; 16–20 people.

Requirements:
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service
No degree,



certificate or diploma required
Authorization to work in Canada
Available for shift or on-call work
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Client focus, flexibility, and ability to work as a team player

Work Conditions: Rapid-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing and walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding.

Schedule: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Night, Weekend, Shift.
