Provide essential supervision to students as a Student Monitor with the Upper Canada District School Board. This role focuses on maintaining safety and fostering a positive school setting.
As a Student Monitor, you will assist the Principal by supervising students during breaks, in halls, and on field trips. Candidates should have at least six months of experience working with children and a secondary school diploma. Solid communication skills and the ability to respond to student needs are essential in this supportive role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during lunch and nutrition breaks
• Monitor students in halls and during field trips
• Ensure adherence to acceptable behavior as per school policies




• Demonstrate positive attendance and promote a safe environment
• Perform additional duties as required by the Principal
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma is mandatory
• Six months experience in a supervisory role with children
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and tact in interactions
• Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
