Role: Data Governance & Privacy Specialist

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12months (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Have 5+ years’ experience in data governance, privacy, compliance, operational risk, or business analysis—ideally in a large financial institution.

Manage cross-border data transfer assessments and clearances end-to-end.

Understand data privacy, data residency, regulatory requirements, consent, and lawful data-transfer mechanisms.

Execute controls, identify gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation.

Work with multiple stakeholders across Data Office, Risk, Audit, Quality Assurance, and Data Transfer teams.

Be strong in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Most importantly, be able to streamline/automate a manual CBDC process using AI.
