Team Lead – Receiving Inspection

We are seeking an experienced CMM /Receiving InspectionInspector with a strong background in dimensional inspection and incoming material verification. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands‑on experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and performing receiving inspection activities, along withproficiencyin PC-DMIS andPolyWorks.

This role is critical in ensuring all incoming materials and manufactured components meet engineering and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

- Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials, components, and parts
- Conduct dimensional inspections using CMM equipment on complex components
- Develop,modify,and execute inspection programs using PC-DMIS and/orPolyWorks
- Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)submittedby suppliers using Net-Inspect
- Review and verify supplier documentation and certifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections asrequired
- Identifyand document non-conforming materials and support disposition activities
- Analyze inspection data and trends toidentifyquality issues and improvements




- Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and technical documentation
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Ensure inspection tools and CMM equipment are calibrated and maintained
- Work closely with suppliers, engineering, and internal quality teams

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experiencein CMM inspection and/or receiving inspection
- Solid understanding ofGD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Knowledge of incoming inspection processes and supplier quality requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiencyin data analysis and technical report writing
- Good communicationskills and ability to work independently
- Current work authorization for Canada isrequiredfor all openings.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing environments (aerospace, or precision machining)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems
- Certification in metrology or quality inspection (ASQ or equivalent)
- Experience with ERP systems for inspection documentation
- Experience usingNet-Inspect or similar FAIR management systems
