Child caregiver – private home.

Location: Mississauga, ON L5J 3B8.

Work location: On site.

Salary: 20.85/hour, 35.00–40.00 hours per week.

Term: Permanent, full time. Work hours: Early morning, evening, morning, day, and weekend.

Start: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain a protected and healthy workplace in the home
Organize activities such as games and outings for children
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well‑being of children

Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Minimum of 6 months experience in child care
Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment,



organization, reliability, patience, honesty
Background check: criminal record check required
Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Public transportation available; travel expenses paid by employer
