Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable

Claims Supervisor

who mainly will focus on prompt, efficient, and thorough resolutions of our freight and equipment claims.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing the processing of transportation claims submitted by customers, clients, or other stakeholders

Responsible for investigating and resolving customers’ freight issues, which may include claims for damaged or lost freight.

Reviewing claim documentation, assessing claim validity,



and ensuring information is gathered

Complete freight claim paperwork with transportation provider—both paper or electronic.

Process checks and ensure all parties are paid in a timely manner when a claim is resolved

Provide proactive education to the drivers in order to decrease future freight claims

Provide written and verbal communication to all involved parties

Prepare reports and analysis to provide insights into claims trends, settlement amount or other relevant matrix.

Stay updated on applicable laws and guidelines to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum one year of freight claims experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Great problem solving and negotiating skills

High level of computer proficiency- Microsoft Office applications

Excellent administrative and time management skills

Ability to multitask in quick paced, performance driven environment

Strong planning and organizing skills

Good interpersonal skills

Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeed

Strong team player
