As aCamp Attendantyou will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining common areas and sleeping quarters in a camp setting.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Vacuum, dust all room furniture, blinds including hallway window frames, door frames, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, picture framesWash, scrub and sanitize showers, sinks, toilets, door handles, fridges, sink knobs, chair handles, drawer handles, drawer surfaces, blind wands, shower heads, shower ledges, medicine cabinets, closet handles, TV remotes, desk, desk shelves, bed light and switchesKeep laundry room clean and organizedEmpty garbage and recycle daily and disinfect the containersKeep an accurate record of all bedding allotted in camp and report any shortages to the Camp Manager and store all linen in a secure placeAssist with inventory of cleaning suppliesEnsure positive order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any deficiencies to supervisorsQualifications:3 months’ janitorial and/or housekeeping experience in hospitality, residential/commercial cleaning or remote camp settingFirst Aid and WHMIS training certified is an assetKnowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipmentCapable of communicating in English (listening speaking, reading, writing) with clients, co-workers, and managementAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with othersBe able to operate washers, dryers, vacuum machines, floor polishers and other cleaning electronic and non-electronic equipmentPosition Requirements:Shift: 12hr/dayRotation: 14 Days on/14 Days offAnticipated closing date: Dec 30, 2026Local applicants preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
