Overview

Alo Food Group / CookUnity Kitchen is looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook / Food Plater to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced commercial kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals.

Responsibilities
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients
Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
Plate meal prep dishes with accuracy and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
Lift and move ingredient boxes and supplies (up to 40 lbs)
Work efficiently in a cold food preparation environment
Assist with general kitchen duties as required

Experience
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an asset
Good knowledge of fresh ingredients and food handling practices




Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable working in a cold environment
Available for early morning shifts and weekends
Reliable, punctual, and legally eligible to work in Canada
