Contribute to Indigenous education as an Itinerant Ojibwe/Cree Language Support Instructor in Minnetonka School. Collaborate with teachers to enhance language and cultural programming effectively.

The Louis Riel School Division seeks an experienced Instructor for Ojibwe/Cree language support. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred post-secondary education and experience working with Indigenous communities.

Support staff career development and help implement the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Ojibwe/Cree language programming across schools
Collaborate with Indigenous Education team and teachers
Support career development for educational staff




Foster traditional Indigenous teachings within programming
Maintain solid communication with students and communities

Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
Respect In School training or similar certification
Experience with Indigenous organizations or communities
Intermediate to bilingual proficiency in Ojibwe or Cree
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
