About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven and capable Associate Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team in Kimberley. This role involves supporting the company's diverse commercial activities through expert legal advice and contract management. You will be involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks for the business. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including service agreements and supply contracts.
- Conduct legal research on commercial law matters and provide clear, concise advice to business stakeholders.
- Support senior lawyers in managing contractual disputes and claims.




- Ensure compliance with relevant South African commercial laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of legal processes and documentation.

Requirements

- Admitted Attorney with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Solid understanding of contract law and general commercial principles.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing standard commercial agreements.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
