About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Data Analyst to join their growing team in Kimberley. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual early in their career to gain practical experience in data collection, processing, and analysis. You will work closely with senior analysts to extract meaningful insights from datasets, support decision-making processes, and contribute to data-driven strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for uncovering trends and patterns within data, contributing to the analytical capabilities within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
- Perform basic data analysis using spreadsheets and data visualization tools.
- Generate reports and dashboards to present key findings and trends.
- Support senior analysts in developing data models and implementing analytical solutions.




- Identify data quality issues and assist in implementing solutions to ensure data accuracy.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Basic understanding of data analysis principles and statistical concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Robust analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and keen attention to detail.
