The Greater Vancouver Food Bank is seeking a Driver to join its dedicated team. In this full-time position, you will ensure safe transportation of food from donors to distribution sites while supporting warehouse operations. You'll need solid communication skills and a solid understanding of transportation logistics for effective food delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various vehicles for food pickup and delivery
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety
• Organize and load vehicles efficiently
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for quality
• Provide training for new Drivers as needed
Requirements:
• BC Class 5 clean driving license
• 1+ years experience in a warehouse environment
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Flexibility for changing work hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
