Job Summary: CSA Group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Technical Architect, Application Development & Support to serve as the technical leader accountable for the development, enhancement, support, and lifecycle management of CSA's business and customer-facing applications. This is a working lead role: it designs, codes, reviews, tests, debugs, and releases software, while owning delivery, quality, security, and supportability across the application portfolio, spanning the OutSystems 11 low-code platform, Java, Microsoft .NET and C#, MuleSoft integration services, relational databases, and legacy collaboration platforms including Jive. The role participates in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirements through build, release, and ongoing maintenance, provides Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, and is accountable for the non-functional health of the application estate - performance, code security, privacy by design, and patch and version currency. The role leads through influence and vendor management, directing external development vendors, systems integrators, and contract resources,

Responsibilities: Acts as lead developer and technical design authority for applications in scope, setting coding standards, design patterns, branching strategy, and definition of done for internal and vendor developers. Translates business requirements and project goals into platform, solution, and coding specifications and credible estimates, and performs code review across all platforms in scope. Designs, develops, tests, and releases applications on the OutSystems 11 platform, including reactive web/mobile apps, BPT flows, and REST/SOAP integrations, and owns OutSystems architecture, governance, and technical debt management. Develops, enhances, debugs, and supports Java and Microsoft .NET/C# applications and services, including REST/SOAP web services and background/batch processing. Designs, builds, and supports MuleSoft integrations, including API-led connectivity, DataWeave transformations, API Manager policies, and runtime deployment and monitoring. Coordinates integration of applications with core corporate systems (ERP, Online Store, customer-facing platforms), and ensures a common user experience across customer, member, and external-facing applications. Designs, develops, reviews, and tunes relational database objects and data models, and resolves query,

locking, and database performance issues. Diagnoses issues spanning application, operating system, database, and network layers, and works with infrastructure, cloud, network, and security teams on platform dependencies. Establishes application monitoring, alerting, and performance baselines, and conducts load, stress, and performance testing ahead of significant releases. Applies secure coding practices aligned to OWASP Top 10 and ASVS, runs and remediates findings from static/agile application security testing and dependency scanning, and manages application secrets, keys, and certificates. Embeds privacy by design into solution design and build, working with Legal, Privacy, and GRC functions, and supports audits and customer security questionnaires relating to applications in scope. Owns patch and version currency for application platforms, runtimes, frameworks, and third-party libraries, planning and executing upgrades within change control. Defines and maintains the test approach (unit, integration, regression, UAT support, and automation), and manages source control, branching, build/release pipelines, and deployment automation. Owns configuration, refresh, data masking, and access control of development and test environments. Supports, patches, and maintains legacy collaboration and content platforms such as Jive, managing associated risk and planning migration or decommissioning. Directs external development vendors, systems integrators, and contract resources, including scope, statements of work, acceptance criteria, and knowledge
