Airswift is seeking a Contract Formation Specialist to support one of our O&G clients in Calgary, AB on a 1-year contract.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Formation Specialist to support the development, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring contracts are structured effectively, risks are identified and mitigated, and agreements align with organizational and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end tendering process, including solicitation development, bidder clarifications, evaluation, negotiations, exception management, and contract award and formationPartner with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations) to define scope, commercial structures, and contract termsDrive and support commercial negotiations, ensuring outcomes align with corporate policies, risk tolerance, and business objectivesProactively identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the contracting lifecycleEnsure all contracts comply with internal governance frameworks, legal requirements,



and applicable regulatory standardsMaintain accurate, auditable, and well-organized contract documentation within contract management systemsDevelop, standardize, and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, and best practicesProvide expert guidance and mentorship to internal teams on contract formation strategy, processes, and compliance requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a related field10+ years of experience in contract formation, procurement, or commercial contractingStrong understanding of contract law principles and commercial termsExperience in negotiation and stakeholder managementExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and writing skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in energy, oil & gas, or large-scale industrial environmentsProfessional certifications (e.G., SCMP, CPSM, or Legal/Contract Management certifications)Familiarity with ERP or contract lifecycle management systems (e.G., Ivalua, SAP, Ariba, or similar)#J-18808-Ljbffr
