Tungasuvvingat Inuit is seeking a full time Education and Training Coordinator to spearhead the Kamatsiarniq Program. This position focuses on creating and implementing culturally-informed training for practitioners serving Inuit youth and families.
As the Education and Training Coordinator, your responsibilities will encompass the design and execution of workshops that enhance the cultural competency of various service providers across Ontario. Your engagement with community experts and collaboration with stakeholders will enhance the curriculum tailored for Inuit cultural sensitivity and support systems in place for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage training initiatives and workshops
• Oversee curriculum development and consultations
• Ensure participant travel logistics are arranged
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement for project success
• Prepare and submit evaluation and progress reports
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma
• Proven experience in program management and workshop facilitation
• Familiarity with Inuit culture and socio-economic challenges
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on project tasks
