Our client seeks a proactive Building Maintenance and Cleaning Supervisor for their properties in Kimberley. This role blends hands-on supervision with remote administrative duties. You will oversee the daily cleaning operations and ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of assigned buildings, leading a team of cleaning and maintenance staff. Responsibilities include scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and addressing maintenance issues promptly. The hybrid aspect allows for remote management of reports, staff scheduling, and client communication, while requiring a strong in office presence for direct supervision and operational oversight. Your role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of the properties.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily cleaning activities and coordinate maintenance tasks for assigned buildings.
Lead, train, and motivate cleaning and maintenance staff, ensuring high performance standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of building systems.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance parts,



and equipment.
Respond to and resolve maintenance requests and tenant issues promptly.
Handle administrative tasks remotely, including staff scheduling, payroll input, and performance reporting.
Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role in building maintenance or facilities management.
Solid understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards , and basic building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
