Make a difference in Iqaluit as a Tobacco and Cannabis Program Officer. This role focuses on financial support and administrative tasks for vital community health initiatives.
As the Tobacco and Cannabis Program Officer, you will report to the Manager of Tobacco and Cannabis Programs. Your responsibilities will include supporting research projects and assisting tobacco and cannabis teams in community outreach. This position also involves the coordination of special events and program-related activities for public awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial and administrative support for program initiatives
• Assist in organizing community outreach and special events
• Support research projects related to tobacco and cannabis
• Collaborate with teams for effective program implementation
• Facilitate communication and engagement within the community
Requirements:
• Eligible as Nunavut Inuit
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Experience in community engagement and outreach
• Awareness of tobacco and cannabis issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace
Contribute significantly to health initiatives in Iqaluit as a Tobacco and Cannabis Program Officer.
