Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated --individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Veterinary Assistant. This role combines front-desk responsibilities as well as hands-on clinical support. The position is part time and can later be full time.

Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties

Office duties such as organizing, photocopying, scanning and faxing

Greet clients and patients in a warm,



professional manner

Answer phone calls: schedule and confirming appointments, and manage inquiries

Process payments and maintain accurate client records

Handle emails and general administrative tasks

Veterinary Assistant Duties

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures

Restrain animals safely and compassionately

Clean and prepare exam rooms and equipment

Support basic animal care (feeding, walking, monitoring)

Husbandry duties such as: Cleaning dishes, laundry kennels etc.

Qualifications

Education; Grade 12

VOA certificate is an assist

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or customer care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a medium-paced environment
