Job Description
As People & Culture Manager – Colleague Relations, you will help shape an exceptional colleague experience by partnering with leaders on employee relations, engagement, recognition, and workplace culture. Through a visible and approachable presence, you will build strong relationships and champion Fairmont's culture of care and hospitality.

This is a full-time, permanent position , starting as soon as possible.

Pay Range: $72,000 - $85,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

Job Duties Include:

Build strong relationships with colleagues and leaders through a visible presence across the hotel

Serve as a trusted partner on employee relations, workplace concerns, and team success

Coach leaders to create engaging, inclusive, and high-performing teams

Lead investigations, conflict resolution, attendance, and performance management processes

Drive colleague engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives

Lead Employee Engagement Survey action planning and continuous improvement efforts





Use colleague insights and workforce trends to enhance retention and engagement

Ensure compliance with Fairmont standards and BC employment legislation

Help create an exceptional workplace experience that supports outstanding guest experiences

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Human Resources or People & Culture experience, ideally within hospitality or a service-focused environment

Proven success supporting employee relations and coaching leaders

Robust understanding of BC employment legislation and HR best practices

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels

Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters

Organized, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operation

Passionate about engagement, culture, and creating exceptional colleague experiences
