Overview of the role Saputo is seeking a Product Manager in the Strategic Business Development department, for an existing opportunity within our organization. The chosen candidate will actively manage a product portfolio and lead the execution of cross-functional projects related to the market development and maintenance of this same portfolio. In this role, the Product Manager will also work towards optimizing the performance of his/her product portfolio by recommending and leading improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities Analyse, manage and optimize a product portfolio and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in terms of growth, revenue, market share, profits and SKUs efficiency
Manage a wide range of product-related projects with a multidisciplinary team (Sales, R&D;, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
Drive the launch of new products, following an established product launch process, within timelines, from business case to market
Builds and executes product management plans & budget for assigned categories with some guidance from Sr. Manager/Director
Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that product objectives are translated into Marketing initiatives
Act as the technical expert in his/her assigned product categories
Qualifications University degree in business administration/management/marketing or a related field (MBA considered an asset)
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product/Brand Manager




Bilingualism (spoken and written) in English, and in French
Provide leadership, good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a rapidly changing business environment
Strong business sense, analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent people management skills
Strong project and time management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and/or the food industry is an asset
Additional responsibilities As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America.

Salary Salary: $92 795 - $121 795 *Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
