About the Role Our client, a leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is actively seeking a talented and innovative Product Development Scientist to join their research and development team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute your scientific expertise from your home office. You will be at the forefront of creating new and improved products, focusing on formulation, sensory evaluation, and ensuring product stability and efficacy. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and development activities to create creative new FMCG products , focusing on formulation, ingredient interactions, and product performance.
Develop and optimize product formulations, ensuring they meet consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
Perform sensory evaluations and stability testing to ensure product quality, safety, and shelf-life.
Collaborate closely with marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.




Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during product development and scale-up processes.
Stay abreast of emerging scientific trends, technologies, and competitive product developments within the FMCG industry.
Requirements Master's or Ph.D. in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development , preferably within the FMCG industry .
Proven expertise in product formulation, sensory science, and analytical techniques.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance principles relevant to FMCG products.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting .
