We are looking for an Accounting Technician to join MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team. This entry-level to two-year experience position will provide you with opportunities to assist in audits, bookkeeping, and tax engagements. You’ll play a vital part in helping clients manage their financial reporting amidst ongoing changes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support audit and bookkeeping engagements
• Prepare and file government remittances accurately
• Assist in client budget completion and file set-up
• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing processes
• Reconcile GL accounts and investigate discrepancies

Requirements:
• Degree or certificate in accounting or finance
• Entry-level experience in accounting (up to 2 years)
• Knowledge of T4s and T5s
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software is beneficial
