Flair Airlines is looking for an experienced Accountant in Edmonton, AB. You will manage financial reporting, support audits, and enhance efficiencies in our finance department.

Become an essential part of the Finance team, responsible for month-end and year-end close activities. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls while developing your technical knowledge and working toward your CPA designation. This role offers extensive exposure to various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries for monthly and annual adjustments
• Review financial transactions for accuracy
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
• Draft accounting memos and process narratives
• Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
• Three to six years of progressive accounting experience
• Understanding of general ledger and financial reporting
• Familiarity with NetSuite is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
