About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Virtual Event Catering Consultant to provide expert advice and solutions for clients hosting remote or hybrid events. This role involves conceptualizing unique catering packages and logistical strategies that cater to attendees in their own locations, ensuring a cohesive and engaging culinary experience despite physical distance. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of modern catering trends, logistics, and technology, capable of advising on everything from meal kit delivery to virtual cooking experiences. You will collaborate with clients to design bespoke virtual catering solutions that elevate their events and foster attendee connection.
Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their event goals, audience, and budget for virtual or hybrid gatherings.
Develop cutting-edge catering concepts and package recommendations tailored for remote attendees, including meal kits, delivery services, and interactive culinary experiences.
Advise on logistical challenges, such as vendor selection for delivery, packaging solutions, and ensuring timely distribution to attendees across various geographic areas.
Collaborate with clients to integrate catering seamlessly into the virtual event platform and agenda.
Provide guidance on menu customization,



dietary accommodations, and presentation standards for remote dining.
Stay abreast of emerging trends in virtual events, remote dining, and innovative catering delivery models.
Requirements Proven experience in catering, event management, or a related field with a focus on logistics and client consultation.
Demonstrated creativity in developing unique food and beverage solutions for non-traditional settings.
Strong understanding of logistics, including food delivery services, packaging, and supply chain management for distributed recipients.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
Familiarity with virtual event platforms and technologies is a plus.
Ability to work independently and provide expert consultation remotely, contributing to client success in Kimberley and beyond.
