Join Women's College Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre. This part-time role focuses on providing critical care and emotional support for survivors of violence.

In this position, you will assess the physical and emotional status of adult survivors and deliver comprehensive treatment in a compassionate environment. As a part of a dedicated healthcare team, your expertise in crisis counseling, emergency nursing, and patient advocacy will be essential for providing optimal care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency care for survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence
• Assess physical and emotional status while providing crisis counseling
• Collect forensic evidence and perform necessary examinations




• Maintain accurate documentation and provide courtroom testimony
• Engage in outreach and community linkages regarding violence issues

Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Robust crisis counseling and physical assessment skills
• Experience in emergency nursing is an asset
