FortisAlberta is actively seeking a diligent Construction Planner to enhance its operations team. This full time role requires collaboration with Project Planners, field crews, and external stakeholders to ensure that construction projects are developed safely and on schedule. Utilize your technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to support the efficient execution of community power projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess project designs and confirm necessary approvals
• Visit sites for evaluations and staking activities




• Streamline construction processes using engineering templates
• Ensure projects meet utility standards and safety regulations
• Liaise with customers and partners for requirement clarifications

Requirements:
• Diploma in relevant Engineering Technology or Journeyman certificate
• Three years of field experience or two years if technician certified
• Proficient in utility construction practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence
