The Opportunity:
The Ministry of Finance is seeking one multi-skilled qualified for the position of Planning and Policy Consultant.
Reporting to the Manager of Planning, Policy and Legislative Services, the Consultant will:
Support the development and renewal of strategic and annual plans by gathering inputs, facilitating planning discussions, monitoring and communicating progress;
Manage and coordinate reporting and accountability activities for the ministry, including the development of internal and public reports;
Facilitate and build capacity in divisions and branches to engage in division planning and progress monitoring;
Coordinate materials for the ministry's annual budget submission, working with key stakeholders to gain insight on ministry risks, emerging trends, and strategic priorities.
Maintain and support the development of corporate policies for the ministry, communicating key changes to stakeholders;
Provide project and change management expertise in the development and execution of ministry strategies and initiatives; and
Support the coordination of the ministry's committees' actions and governance to promote a positive workplace culture.
