Join Wikwemikong Health Centre as a Youth Mental Health and Addictions Worker. You will deliver comprehensive mental health services and promote well-being for children under 18 in the community.
In this pivotal role, you'll perform clinical assessments, treatment planning, and counseling to support mental health among children and youth. Your participation in the Outdoor Adventure Leadership Experience will further enhance service delivery and community engagement. Culturally secure practices and community involvement are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete administrative and counseling duties
• Deliver effective clinic services tailored to Wikwemikong youth
• Encourage mental health awareness and education
• Engage in the Outdoor Adventure Leadership Experience program
• Contribute to personal and quality improvement activities
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma
• Experience with Indigenous youth clinical services
• Familiarity with First Nation programs and collaboration
• Competence in conducting assessments and group therapy
