Join the healthcare team at Strait Richmond Hospital as a Rehabilitation Assistant. Your role will focus on supporting patient movement and daily functions through collaborative interventions.
In this full-time position, you'll work under the direction of the Manager and alongside therapists, assisting patients with their rehabilitation journey. Your responsibilities include cleaning equipment, maintaining treatment areas, and delivering protected interventions for patient care. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for managing tasks and adapting to varying patient needs within the Rehabilitation Services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement therapists' prescribed rehabilitation interventions
• Ensure treatment areas and equipment are well-maintained
• Facilitate patient movement and function improvement
• Support patients and families with clear communication
• Organize duties to accommodate changing patient caseloads
Requirements:
• Completion of the Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• High School diploma or GED
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration
• Competency in basic computer skills
