As a Physiotherapist I at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, you will be integral to the Inpatient Acute Care team. In this part time role, you’ll focus on providing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, working closely with patients and families for effective rehabilitation. Your expertise will significantly aid in recovery journeys and improve overall patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments post-surgery or trauma
• Create and implement personalized rehabilitation plans
• Facilitate mobility and cardiorespiratory interventions
• Guide and educate patients on their recovery
• Engage in mentorship and quality enhancement activities
Requirements:
• Accredited Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Proven teamwork and conflict resolution capabilities
• Knowledge of geriatric assessment is an asset
• Ability to manage hands-on patient care tasks
