As a Program Manager at Taproot, you'll lead a specialized program for youth facing complex challenges in Parksville. Your role encompasses administrative tasks, staff supervision, and program evaluation. You'll collaborate with various partners to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive services and improve positive outcomes for youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic goals and evaluate program effectiveness
• Manage performance and professional development of staff
• Implement strong child safety measures and community partnerships
• Design programs that foster development and healing for youth
• Ensure compliance with MCFD policies and standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience
• Solid management and financial oversight skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices necessary
• Current First Aid certification and valid Driver's License
• Experience with youth in high-risk contexts preferred
