Experience required: At least 2 years of relevant experience providing direct support to people with developmental disabilities, complex support needs, or similar care needs in a group home, supported living, day program, community participation, employment support, or related human services setting. Behaviour supports, including respectful responses to complex behavioural needs Medical supports, including medication administration, health monitoring, and following care plans Mobility supports, including wheelchair support, lifts, transfers, and protected body mechanics Experience as PSW, Personal care, including lifting, bending, twisting, and assisting with daily living activities Employment, community participation, or life-skills support Supports to people with a dual diagnosis, Autism, FASD, or who do not use words to communicate The wage for this position is $22.53 per hour.
