About the Role

Our client is looking for a vigilant Telecoms Security Analyst to safeguard their network infrastructure and sensitive data in Kimberley . Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and develop remediation plans.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure and applications.
- Implement and maintain security controls and policies to protect against threats.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats,

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific experience in network security.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
