About the Role Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Electrical Design Technician to support their engineering team in Kimberley . This role focuses on creating and modifying electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation under the guidance of electrical engineers. You will utilize CAD software to produce accurate drawings for various projects, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards. This position is perfect for an individual with a strong technical aptitude and a desire to grow their career in electrical design within a supportive, hybrid work workplace.
Key Responsibilities Produce and update electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts using CAD software.
Assist engineers in the selection of electrical components and materials.
Prepare bill of materials (BOMs) and other project-related documentation.
Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and relevant industry standards .




Coordinate with other departments to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
Support the engineering team during the design, review, and implementation phases of projects.
Requirements National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter or Designer.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software.
Understanding of electrical symbols, standards, and components.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup, both in the Kimberley office and remotely.
