Accept a rewarding position as the Coordinator of Protective Services with the Town of Fort Smith. This role supports fire and emergency services while enhancing community safety.

In your full time role, you will lead operational activities as Deputy Chief, reporting to the Director. Your responsibilities will encompass emergency management coordination, volunteer training, and administrative support, all aimed at building a safer community through comprehensive protective services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead as Deputy Chief of the Fire and EMS department
• Manage volunteer training and compliance
• Develop and implement the Town's Emergency Management Program
• Coordinate department activities and ensure policy compliance
• Assist with Occupational Health & Safety programs

Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in Fire Services or Emergency Management
• Minimum five years of related experience
• NFPA 1001 Firefighter certification
• ICS 100, 200, and 300 certifications
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
