Join York University's Advancement team as the Director of Development for the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design. Take the lead in building meaningful donor relations and facilitating impactful fundraising activities.

In this leadership role, you are responsible for orchestrating philanthropic campaigns targeting $1M-$1.5M annually. Your efforts will include identifying potential donors, cultivating relationships, and collaborating with university leadership to advance the mission of AMPD. Engaging alumni and friends of the university will be central to your work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement revenue-generating fundraising strategies
• Identify and cultivate major donor prospects




• Lead stewardship activities to enhance donor relationships
• Work closely with University and School leadership
• Promote alumni engagement through targeted initiatives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• 6 years of direct fundraising experience
• 4 years of management in a unionized setting
• Deep understanding of fundraising regulations
• Proven skills in project management and team leadership
