This role requires a strong hydrogeologist with significant experience for a major oil and gas client. You'll assess groundwater risks associated with oil sands developments and support environmental compliance and operational initiatives. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, is key to the success of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess groundwater risks for resource well drilling operations
• Lead and review groundwater contamination assessment programs
• Design and implement groundwater monitoring programs




• Evaluate hydrochemical and isotopic data for vent flow analysis
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions

Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Hydrogeology or Earth Sciences
• Minimum 10 years of hydrogeological experience
• Qualified designation as P.Geo. or P.Eng. in Alberta
• Strong understanding of groundwater systems and regulations
• Excellent technical writing and data interpretation skills
