Become a key player in Ausenco’s Mining & Metals team as an Experienced Mechanical Engineer. This hybrid role involves hands-on mechanical design, vendor coordination, and equipment evaluation.

This role targets individuals with 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in mining projects. You will develop specifications, assess bids, and coordinate the delivery of mechanical packages. Your collaboration with various disciplines will ensure project success and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create requisitions and scope of supply documents for mechanical packages
• Evaluate technical bids and recommend equipment solutions
• Engage with equipment vendors for clarity and design reviews




• Assess vendor drawings and technical documentation for accuracy
• Ensure timely and quality-aligned equipment delivery

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant mechanical engineering experience
• Experience in mining and mineral processing
• Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities
