In this temporary position, you will support the leadership team while fostering an inclusive and people-centric work culture. Your duties will involve managing legal inquiries, overseeing litigation, and delivering exceptional legal services on complex human rights issues. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring your team and driving initiatives that align with the OHRC’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal counsel for complex human rights issues
• Supervise and mentor a team of legal professionals
• Ensure effective management of client service standards




• Develop legal strategy and oversee litigation
• Prepare reports and policy documents for leadership

Requirements:
• Membership with the Law Society of Ontario in valuable standing
• Strong background in human rights, constitutional law
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills
• Experience in managing complex legal matters
• Strong commitment to equity and diversity
