Lead cultural education as the Land Language Culture Coordinator at Dene High School, La Loche. This role facilitates land-based learning and nurtures relationships within the community.

As a full-time, temporary Coordinator, you will engage with students, Elders, and staff to implement Indigenous language programming. Your experience working with First Nations will be fundamental in establishing a positive learning climate aligned with Elders' teachings. Flexibility and strong communication are key to successful collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate language and cultural activities
• Support community partnerships with Elders and agencies
• Promote land-based education initiatives across the school




• Foster a supportive and caring school culture
• Collaborate closely with teachers and parents

Requirements:
• Proven organizational and communication skills
• Experience with land-based learning initiatives
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Adaptable to work outside regular hours
• Proficiency in Cree, Dene, or Michif is preferred
