The University of Alberta seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Forest Hydrology to enhance research efforts and teach. This full time position is based in Edmonton and values innovation.

Embark on a tenure-track role within the Department of Renewable Resources at the University of Alberta, focusing on forest ecohydrology. You will tackle climate-related challenges while developing effective forest management strategies. Besides research, you will be engaged in teaching graduate and undergraduate students in essential courses for forest management and ecology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct advanced forest hydrology research
• Deliver courses in Forest Ecology and Management
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students




• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration for implementation
• Maintain active field research monitoring sites

Requirements:
• PhD in forest hydrology, ecohydrology, or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in field hydrologic research
• Experience managing significant research funding
• Engagement in teaching and curriculum creation
• Collaboration with governmental and industrial sectors

Drive impactful research and educational excellence in forest hydrology at the University of Alberta.
