Lead child intervention initiatives as a Practice Specialist with the Ministry of Children and Family Services in North Region, Alberta. Focus on quality assurance and staff mentoring.
This full-time position is designed for an innovative leader passionate about enhancing child welfare services. You will be responsible for implementing practice improvements and supporting collaboration within communities and child protection services to achieve positive outcomes for families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the continuous improvement of intervention practices
• Train and coach staff on best practices
• Provide consultation on complex cases
• Integrate trauma-informed approaches in practice
• Work with community partners to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of experience in child welfare
• Solid understanding of child intervention frameworks
• Coaching and mentoring expertise required
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License needed
• Registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers is mandatory
