About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Remote Cybersecurity Analyst to join their dedicated security team. You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential breaches, and implementing defensive measures. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response, thriving in a remote environment and committed to maintaining a robust security posture for the organization, safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity.
Investigate security alerts and potential security incidents, performing root cause analysis.
Develop and implement security measures to protect systems and data from cyber threats.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication,



and recovery efforts.
Stay informed about current cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
Requirements Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar security role.
Strong knowledge of network security , intrusion detection systems, and firewalls.
Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST).
Proficiency in analyzing security logs and identifying malicious patterns.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly regarded for this remote position.
