In this role, you will report to the Controller, ensuring complete accuracy and compliance of financial data across projects. Your responsibilities will include managing the month-end closes, preparation of statements under ASPE or IFRS, and project cost accounting. A strong background in public accounting and a completed CPA designation are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries and perform reconciliations
• Maintain job cost ledgers and prepare draw packages




• Reconcile HST and handle final closings
• Support external audits with proper documentation
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes

Requirements:
• Completed CPA required with five years of experience
• Background in real estate development accounting
• Public accounting training from a recognized firm preferred
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems
• Knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and new housing HST
