The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking a full-time Pain and Symptom Management & Palliative Care Coordinator. In this permanent position, you will offer clinical leadership and patient support while providing education on best practices in oncology care. Your primary role will be to ensure quality pain management for patients and their families, making a difference in their lives during treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee pain and symptom management for oncology patients
• Provide consultation and education on palliative care
• Coordinate care and support for patient families
• Develop and present complex information on care practices
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Nursing
• Five years of nursing experience required
• Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
• Licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
• Oncology Nursing Certification is an asset
